Rusiate Tudravu reminded the Fiji Police Force players who are members of national teams of their roles.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police spoke to the players following the second round of the Commissioner’s Cup at Prince Charles Park yesterday where Police West walloped visitors Police North 51-21.

“I have spoken to Vodafone Flying Fijians squad member Eremasi Radrodro and reminded him they will have to play in this year’s Ratu Sukuna Bowl clash.

“The Commissioner of Police gave you the chance to work in the force so utilize the opportunity,” ACP Tudravu said. He also reminded players not to be complacent.

“Don’t think that you are playing in the provincial level and national level for you to be complacent,”ACP Tudravu said.

The officers were also reminded yesterday to be responsible players.

“As all of you are aware we had just buried an officer Eroni Daugunu who was involved in an accident after a game.

“You need to take care of yourselves,” he said.

Led by BLK Nadroga players Radrodro, Setefano Somoca and winger Apisalome Waqatabu, Police West led 27-7 at halftime.
