Location, location, location – it’s vital for business growth. Coupled with the increasing trend of selective and sophisticated coffee drinkers, it made sense for Fidelis Ahsam to bring her products to the city centre.

Moments Casual Eatery opened on June 1 at the BSP Life Centre building along Scott Street across Village 6 movie theatre, the upper floors of the Centre house an embassy and other businesses providing an immediate customer base.

Mrs Ahsam knows her choice of location was spot-on.

“It’s a stop-over for everyone.

“Since we opened, it has been really busy and so far business is picking up,” she said.

Only two weeks into business, Mrs Ahsam is well aware of the competition from nearby outlets.

Mrs Ahsam is determined to give her customers a product that will get them coming back for more.

Her experience from running  her Café 30 at McGregor Road and Malolo Bure at the Secretariat of the Pacific Community at Ratu Sukuna road will no doubt be an advantage.

So will the ambience of Moments, an atmosphere and outfitting which would not be out of place in Auckland or Sydney.

Moments Eatery employs eight staff and it opens from 7 am for seven days.
