A deal was recently signed between Exotic Music Fiji and popular local band, Leba Boi Yawa last week.

Exotic Music Fiji general manager, Avichal Kumar said it was the second signing between the Fiji Performing Rights Association Music Award winning group.

Mr Kumar said the album titled Vuabale Na Dodomo features 12 songs including a song that was specifically written for National Rugby League star, Semi Radradra.

“This is their sixth volume and we’re looking forward to working with them and taking them for shows around the country,” Mr Kumar said.

Etonia Lote Junior who wrote the song for Semi Radradra titled Kaivesu ni Dodomo (Prisoner of Love) a year ago the league star had approached him about his situation with his partner and what really happened to them.

“I wrote the song in January and the song describes what really happened to Semi,

Mr Lote said when he sent the lyrics of the song to Semi he cried over the phone; he then asked Semi if there was anything needed to be changed in which he said no.

The song Kaivesu ni Dodomo is now playing in the local radio stations and has become a hit. It also has a music video produced by Arisi Tabua of Exotic Music Fiji.

All the 12 songs were produced by the head engineer of Exotic Music, Alifereti Suka.

The songs were composed by Etonia Lote Senior, Kitione Vunisaravi, and Etonia Lote Junior.

Leba Boi Yawa members include Ilaisa Ravula, Mesake Tuberi, and Anare Vute.

It took them almost two months to record.

The album has a mix of pop, reggae, and vude and the CD also has the lyrics of the 12 songs.

The Volume Six album can be purchased from any Exotic Music Fiji outlet in Fiji for $20.
