PM: Be well-informed of 2018 General Election

The people of Saqani and nearby districts need to be well-informed when it comes to the 2018 General Election.

Officiating at the opening of the Saqani Roadshow in Cakaudrove Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama urged them to be fully aware of the procedures and processes.

“As responsible citizens, I encourage you all to ensure that you are fully informed and thoroughly aware of the procedures and processes that are being required of all voting citizens and which our Elections Office are widely communicating to all members of the public,” Mr Bainimarama said.

He also called on the community to take advantage of the projects which were made available to them.

“A reciprocal approach also is required from the communities and must be adopted to ensure it is meaningful and far reaching,” Mr Bainimarama said.

“I seek co-operation and support from all parties involved in development to take ownership and be appreciative of these projects.

“Only then will development be sustainable and its benefits fully realised.”

He announced that he had commissioned projects valued at $17million in Cakaudrove during his last visit with more projects to come.
