Reddy : Bullying Is Real

Jason Reddy is one of the 13 confirmed King contestants at this August’s Vodafone Hibiscus festival.
His advocacy message is against bullying and how it is important that we address the issue as a country.
“People in Fiji take it very lightly but bullying is a major issue which happens in homes and schools around the country,” he said.
WHO IS JASON REDDY?
Jason Paul Reddy is originally from Vuna, Taveuni, and grew up in Tongatapu, Tonga. He is currently a student at the Sacred Heart College in Suva (formerly known as Cathedral Secondary School).
What was your first reaction when you were told that you were one of the 13 King contestants at this year’s Festival?
Jason: I was very surprised but happy that I made it through and I thank my Father in heaven for this opportunity.
What are you most looking forward to at this year’s Festival?
Jason: I am looking forward to be crowned the King of Vodafone Hibiscus Festival this year.
Has it ever crossed your mind growing up and watching the Festival that one day you’ll be part of it?
Jason: It never crossed my mind, but I am truly grateful that I am a part of this festival.
Apart from work, what do you like doing in your past time?
Jason: I love going to the gym and I have competed in the Fiji Bodybuilding Association competition and won two gold medals
Who is/are your greatest inspiration by far?
Jason: My greatest inspiration so far is my mother who has taught me so many values in life. She is a great role model for me and she has brought me up to be a great person.
What would like to take away from this year’s Hibiscus?
Jason: I would like to take away with me the friendship, experience and memories that will last forever.
