A woman and two men appeared separately in the Nasinu Magistrates Court before Magistrate Charles Ratakele yesterday charged with possession of illicit drugs respectively.

In the first case, Ilisapeci Fue, 44, was bailed with strict conditions.

It is alleged Fue was in possession of 10 grams of marijuana on June 18 .She was bailed on for $500.

She will reappear in court on August 15.

In the second case, Lui Vuetivugalei Rokoragata is charged with unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

It is alleged he was found in possession of 1.7g of marijuana on June 18. He was bailed on $400 and $600 for two sureties.

He will reappear in court on August 15.

In the third case, a 26-year-old man allegedly found in possession of 5kg of marijuana on June 8 had his case moved to the High Court.

Sairusi Laveta Junior Tora, charged with unlawful possession of illicit drugs was also denied bail by Magistrate Charles Ratakele.

He will reappear in court on July 5.

Magistrate Ratakele transferred the case saying any illicit drug case of more than 4kg would be heard in the High Court.

Tora has been remanded in custody.
