Businesses can make profit and be more sustainable if top executives and leaders lead risk management.

Today Rachael Mah will elaborate on how to improve business risk management to protect profit and minimise loses.

Ms Mah is one of the 20 plus executives who will be sharing lessons, tips and more at the TOPEX conference starting today.

Ms Mah is the Founder and CEO of AusAsia Training Institute, based in Melbourne, Australia, a boutique training and advisory firm that provides internal auditing, fraud risk management and cross-cultural communication skills services.

She said risk management is not only about lip service.

“It’s about  leaders empowering their teams and then leading by example.”

Fiji Commerce and Employers president, Himen Chandra said the two-day conference will be bigger and brighter.

“In regards to business issues today, FCEF have tried to get in high quality speakers who can address the issues and talk about its solutions during this conference.

“We hope that our members benefit from what will be delivered here.”

The two-day conference is taking place at the Shangri La’s Fijian resort. It ends tomorrow.
