Eleven staff members of Blue Gas Fiji had a one-day training to better their service skills towards their customers.

The training happened at the Blue Gas office in Vuda Point in Lautoka, yesterday.

Staff members from Suva, Sigatoka and Lautoka were part of this training. Trainers were Graham Owen and Paul Colley from Rinnai Australia Pty Limited in Australia.

Petroleum and Gas Company (Fiji) Limited executive chairman Ajai Punja said: “This training is conducted by people from Rinnai Australia Pty Limited (supplies of hot water heaters).

“We have had two or three trainings before but staffs keeping changing, so training is an on-going thing,” he said.

Mr Punja said they would organise more training for their staff.

“This training will benefit them personally because they will be qualified service people and will be able to provide better services to their clients,” he said.

Mr Colley said: “It is wonderful to come to Fiji and provide training to the Blue Gas staff members.

“They all have been asking questions and wanting to increase their knowledge.

“I do not know how often they get this kind of training where people coming from other places to teach them, but they all said that do not get enough training and they going to absorb as much as they can which will help them in years to come,” he said.
