The ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards (FETA) will be launched with its naming rights sponsor ANZ in Suva next week.

This will be the 21st season of FETA providing another exciting season to highlight the excellence of our Tourism Industry.

Trustee and Organizing Committee Chairperson Olivia Mavoa said FETA was the premier event that gave recognition to the country’s leading tourism players.

“Last season’s ANZ FETA was an overwhelming success, which means we have to work harder to make the 2017 ANZ FETA an even bigger and better one. The ultimate focus of the awards is to continue to encourage our tourism industry to provide excellence to our visitors,” Ms Mavoa said.

“We are going online this season so the application process is being made much easier to access. FETA is also looking at revamping its website to keep pace with the digital world. These are amongst some of the exciting new initiatives that we are undertaking as part of the 2017 ANZ FETA.”

15 awards were given at the 2016 ANZ FETA which was held in February this year. The introduction of the Emerging Tourism Leader has allowed us to recognise our aspiring young women and men in the industry.

The 2017 ANZ FETA will commemorate its 21st season in the Fijian tourism industry, culminating at the Awards Gala Dinner in February 2018.
