Stuart Hopes Everyone Is Resilient To Climate Change

Meet Mr Lei Entertainers, Jose Stuart is among 13 King contestants at August’s Vodafone Hibiscus Festival.
His advocacy message is: For the people of Fiji to be Resilient to Climate change.
“It is important to a country like Fiji because Fiji will be expecting more natural disasters in the future and I would love to raise an awareness on how we citizens of Fiji can be resilient towards it.
WHO IS JOSE STUART?
Jose Ritchie Denzel Stuart, 20, is originally from Vanua Levu with maternal links to Nacamaki, Koro, Lomaiviti and has five siblings. He is the acting Manager for Lei Entertainers Fiji.
What was your first reaction when you were told that you were one of the 13 King contestants at this year’s festival?
Jose: I was filled with joy and excitement and I couldn’t wait to be involved with the other King contestants, and just getting to know each other.
What are you most looking forward to for this year’s Festival?
Jose: I’m looking forward to make an impact in sharing my advocacy message to our beloved country.
Has it ever crossed your mind growing up and watching the festival that one day you’ll be a part of?
Jose: Yes most certainly. I’ve always admired how the contestants were able to make a change throughout the festival, and as I was growing up I told myself that I would love to be a HGibiscus contestant just to make a change in our country
What can you say about your sponsors, Lei Entertainers briefly explain about the organization that most people know nothing about?
Jose: I am sponsored by Lei Entertainers. My sponsor (Frances Smith) is my aunt. She started this company because she loved dancing and with her passion she built her company that now employs 30 young people with a talent of dancing and art.
Apart from work, what do you like doing in your past time?
Jose: I love going to the beach which is just five minutes from home and spending time with people who make me laugh especially my family.
Who are your greatest inspiration by far?
Jose: My greatest inspirations by far would be my grandmother and Sir Waisale Serevi
Some of the challenges in your line of work?
Jose: Challenges I face at work would be trying to be better from who I was yesterday.
What would you like to take away from this year’s Hibiscus?
Jose: I would like to take away the exposure and knowing that after I leave Hibiscus I was able to inspire a lot of people.
