The Rewa Rugby Union president, Ro Filipe Tuisawau was at hand to receive sports equipment from Nemani Delaibatiki of West Life Chiropractic College, California, United States at Burebasaga Village Hall last Friday.

The donation includes equipment that will help enhance the Rewa team preparation as it heads into the semi-finals of the Vodafone Vanua Championship competition.

Tomorrow they face Cakaudrove at Ratu Ganilau Park, Savusavu.

Water bottles, new warm-up vests and rugby balls are also part of the donation.

Delaibatiki who is a final year chiropractic student said they were looking at expanding the assistance to the union next year.

Ro Filipe said the union started the season without much-resources. They were grateful to the help from the Delaibatiki family of Muanaira, Vutia, Rewa and fellow villagers who have supported the team. Earlier the family donated a set of muscle vests.
