Suva Must Win, Says Fuli

It will be a do-or-die for the Suva rugby team when they face Jack’s Nadi in the Skipper Cup competition at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori tomorrow.
Suva coach Saiasi Fuli said they need a win to book a spot in the semifinal.
“This is a crucial game for us,” the former Flying Fijians halfback said.
“We had to make use of the two weeks break so for now we just touched up on our set pieces and conditioning programme.
“We also had a warm-up game against Namosi last Friday and it was fortunate that we managed to find areas that we needed to work on. This week we had a normal training programme.”
Fuli also indicated that they are expecting a tough game against Nadi.
“Nadi is one of the rugby giants in Fiji and they are very competitive and always cause a surprise in many big games we’ve experienced in the past.
“They’re under a new management and they had been playing good rugby this year but we’re prepared to face them on Saturday. There won’t be many changes to the side as our main focus is to try and play simple rugby.
“I would like to urge all supporters of Suva Rugby to please come out in numbers and support the team on Saturday.”
CONFIRMED
Naitasiri and Nadroga have secured their spots in the Skipper Cup semifinals while the other two qualifiers will be confirmed after the last round of matches on Saturday.
