Participants in this year’s Amazing Wheelbarrow Race went on a familiarisation tour of Frank Hilton Organisation (FHO) facilities on Wednesday.

“It is important for you to know why you are running this race and who will benefit from it,” chief executive officer FHO Sureni Perera told the participants.

The teams visited the Hilton Hostel, Hilton Audiology Department, Hilton Physiotherapy Department, Hilton Early Intervention Centre and Hilton Special School.

Mrs Perera said the teams were visibly moved by what they saw and it was an extremely touching moment for all when they were handed ‘Good Luck’ cards by some of the students.

The Amazing Wheelbarrow Race is scheduled for July 29.
