Students of Waimari Primary School in Rakiraki will soon be able to know how to operate computers following the timely donation from the Fiji Aid Melbourne organization.

Minister for Education Heritage and Arts Mahendra Reddy handed over the computers, furniture and other educational items to the school, yesterday on behalf of the donors.

“I am thankful to the Fiji Aid Melbourne organisation for their kind donations,” Mr Reddy said:

“In this quest to ensure that we deliver quality education, our pillar three deals with infrastructure,” he said.

“We need to ensure that our infrastructure is ready to assist our school teachers to provide that learning environment,” he said.

According to Mr Reddy the ministry is ensuring that all our schools are equipped with the right infrastructure.

“This is not an easy task as our schools are scattered throughout Fiji.

“Mr Reddy said so whenever donors such as Fiji Aid Melbourne come, we cherish their support,” he said.

Fiji Aid Melbourne president Kamal Kishore has assured that they will continue with their kind work towards Fijians in Fiji.
