A Budget of $2million has allocated for the Young Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) to provide grants up to a maximum of $20,000 to young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-30.
This applies to youths who are innovative with bankable ideas/projects but are not being financed by financial institutions due to lack of collateral.
The scheme will include training and mentorship.
Furthermore, $5million has also been allocated to implement semi-permanent structures or portable stalls for vendors operating outside the municipal boundary.
