Budget with a heart
It is no doubt that this budget has a heart.
It is for the common people, the disadvantaged and the poor and has recognised the important role of civil servants.
This has always been the goal of the current Government.
The onus is now on civil servants to lift their performance, and for the common people to improve their living standards.
Political parties need to know that ordinary people no longer vote on racial lines. They now vote on “bread, butter and pen” issues.
Race does not have any purchasing power and it is not a selection criteria for heaven, peace or economic growth.
Vinaka Minister for Economy for the insight and having a heart for the children, youths of this nation and for the ordinary citizens.
