New Battle Dress For John Wesley

BLK yesterday provided a new set of jerseys for the John Wesley College Under-18 rugby team for the Coca-Cola Zero Deans Trophy competition.
JWC play Nasinu Secondary School in the Southern Zone Secondary Schools semifinals at Suva Grammar School ground today.
BLK sales/marketing manager Liga Gukisuva was grateful for the opportunity to sponsor the school’s rugby team.
“This is the first time we are sponsoring JWC,” Gukisuva said.
“We’ve seen the struggle and difficulties they faced. So we thought of coming down and offer our support.
“I mentioned earlier that one of the biggest challenges of preparing the team is the cost of rugby uniforms.
Team manager Tavu Logavalu was appreciative of the support.
“This is the first time that BLK has sponsored our team and it is really a blessing for the school,” Logavalu said.
“We want to improve our standing in the competition and we focusing on semi-final.
“There are 30 players representing the school in the U18 grade and we are looking forward to a good match against Nasinu Secondary.”
