Out You Go, Nadi Fan Told

Police and security officers had to step in to cool matters as spectators vented their frustration on match officials.
This contributed to the 10 minutes delay of the Vodafone Premier League clash between Lautoka and Nadi at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.
As players and officials made their way out at halftime, a Nadi spectator made abusive comments.
Referee Ravitesh Behari asked the Nadi FA officials to remove the spectator from the grandstand before the match could resume in the second spell.
Behari said, “I cannot and won’t tolerate this kind of behaviour where fans abuse officials.”
He told Nadi FA officials to control spectators in the future.
Vodafone Fijian football coach Christophe Gamel who watched the game with assistant national coach Yogendra Dutt was disappointed.
“There is no respect for referees here and this is not normal at all,”Gamel said.
He would raise his concern with the Fiji Football Association. Edited by Osea Bola
