Vienna Kumar, 17, is overwhelmed to be representing Fiji in table tennis at the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games in Bahamas on July 19-23.

The Year 13 student of Natabua High School aims to win a medal in singles or doubles event.

“My target is to win a medal at the CYG,”Kumar said.

“Preparation has been very intense as I had been training three days a week”

“I am really excited to be part of the Team Fiji and I hope to get much exposure.”

Her doubles partner is Sebastian Tikaram
