Rewa and Ba drew 0-0 in their first game of the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants at Subrail Park, Labasa yesterday.

The 16-time B.O.G winner could penetrate the strong Rewa defence with the opportunities they had.

Ba was in control but poor finishing let them down.

Rewa had quality players in Samuela Kautoga, Lorima Dau and Iosefo Verevou but they failed to spark for the ‘Delta Tigers’.

Fans seem to lose interest watching what was supposed to be the feature match of the day.

Ba replaced Sitiveni Cavuilagi with Ravneet Chand and Rewa’s Misaele Draunibaka gave his all to break the deadlock but to no avail.

Ba take on Dreketi at 12pm today while Rewa face Lautoka at 6pm tonight.

Rewa: Simione Tamanisau (GK), Peni Ana Drova, Lorima Dau, Vuniuci Tikomaimereke, Iosefo Verevo, Gabrielle Cabenalawa matanasiga, Madhvan Goundar, Tevita Waranaivalu, Epeli Saukuru, Amani Makoe, Samuela Kautoga.

Ba: Josaia Ratu (GK), Meli Codro, Manasa Nawakula, Remueru Tekiate, Sitiveni Cavuilagi, Samuela Nabenia, Kishan Sami, Josevata Naibuli, Saula Waqa (C), Narend Rao, Laisenia Naioko
