The funeral for Sumeet Krisn Prasad also known as Dan and Sumo, who died after a road accident will be on July 21.

The 34-year-old was involved in an accident in Veisari on Tuesday the past week.

Relatives and Families of the Late Sumeet Krisn Prasad of Nadi are respectfully informed that a funeral service to pay tribute to Mr Prasad’s life will take place at Bethany Methodist Church in Kennedy Avenue, Nadi at 11am followed by a cremation at 1pm at Wailoaloa, Nadi.

“Dan will forever live in our hearts,” said his sister, Pria Prasad.

Prasad was returning from Nadi when it is alleged that while in the process of overtaking a vehicle his car collided head on with a truck which was heading in the opposite direction.

Prasad was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital but was later pronounced dead on arrival.

The father of two was a former employee of World Wide Fund Pacific (WWF) and was also a diver and had gone down to Nadi for 10 days.
