The Gurjit Singh-coached Labasa team is looking forward to take revenge against Rewa in the 2017 INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants semifinal clash at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori tomorrow.

The “Delta Tigers” defeated Labasa in the Vodafone Fijian FACT semifinal at the same venue last month.

The teams played to a draw in the Vodafone Premier League a fortnight ago.

Unbeaten in the three pool games at Subrail Park last weekend, Singh said Rewa would be tough to beat in the semi-final of any tournament.

“We can’t say much when it comes to semi-final as we can’t take any teams lightly and Rewa is a good team,” Singh said.

“Our preparations are on track and we completed the first constructive training session on Tuesday.

“Two of our players were injured and I will make some positional changes.”

Meanwhile, Labasa will play Rewa 7.30pm on Friday at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park.

In the second semi-final at 3pm on Saturday Lautoka play Nadi at Churchill Park.

The final is scheduled for 2.30pm on Sunday.
