Work with media, Tikaram urges team managers

Beyond Limits Known (BLK) has continued their partnership with the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union for the Coke Zero Deans Trophy rugby competition.

The sportswear clothing company provides uniforms for referees, ball boys and officials with the value of $5000.

BLK commercial and marketing director Liga Gukisuva handed over the uniforms to FSSRU executive Biu Colati and Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji marketing manager Lawrence Tikaram at the BLK Shop in Suva yesterday.

Gukisuva believes their continuous support will assist in the successful ending of the season.

“First of all we want to thank Coca-Cola Amatil and FSSRU for giving us the opportunity to be part of the Coke Zero Deans competition,” Gukisuva said.

“We at BLK are committed and delighted to be part of this event that is moulding our future Flying Fijians and it is important that we end the Coke Zero Dean’s competition on a high note.”

FSSRU executive Colati acknowledged BLK’s support and anticipated an exciting quarterfinals today.

“These uniforms will be first worn tomorrow we welcome BLK and we’re so thankful that they are here and we assure everyone that it will be an exciting day,” Colati said.

Tikaram echoed similar sentiments and urged team managers to cooperate with the media.

“Managers please work with the media so that they have free access to the teams. Be mindful that it is important we treat media well as we go into this professional era,” Tikaram said.
