The ‘Delta Tigers’ of Rewa were no match for the ‘Babasiga Lions’ of Labasa who humiliated them 4-0 in the Vodafone Premier League at Subrail Park yesterday.

 

What happened?

The 2017 Vodafone Fijian FACT and INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants champions were totally outplayed.

Labasa striker Christopher Wasasala scored the first goal in the 15th minute and scored a double at the resumption of the second half.

The other goals were scored by Ratu Anare and Antonio Tuivuna.

Rewa’s Lorima Dau received a yellow card in the second half.

Labasa Coach Gurjit Singh said: “The boys came out strong as we had two tough games this weekend.”
