The Queen Victoria Under-16 rugby side lodged a protest against Marist Brothers High School to the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union executives yesterday.
Queen Victoria officials alleged that Marist Brothers fielded a player that had attended another school early this year, in which the competition rules has been breached.
When approached Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union executive Biu Colati confirmed that they’ve received Queen Victoria’s protest.
“We’ll look at the protest and discuss about it before we’ll come out with our ruling tomorrow,” he added.
Marist Brothers scored a late minute try last Saturday to beat Queen Victoria 10-8 in the Coke Zero Deans Trophy U16 quarterfinals.
