PM Pays Surprise Visit to Kindy

Prime Minister of Fiji, Voreqe Bainimarama and his wife, Mary, paid a surprise visit to Holy Family Kindergarten School on Pratt Street, Suva, on Monday.
The kindergarten is run by the Sisters of Our Lady of Nazareth.
Teacher, Miliana Were, said they were not expecting the Prime Minister.
She said Mr Bainimarama had passed by the school and decided to drop in to say hello.

His visit also coincided with the official opening of
Ms Were said he has three grandchildren who are attending the kindergarten.
The school has a roll of 50 students from different denominations.
She also acknowledged the founders of the One Love in Christ Charity Organisation in Australia, Ilai Bose and his wife, Marsell, who have been supporting the school for the past five years.
She said the couple are always working behind the scenes to support education in the country.
“We acknowledge them for their generosity.”
Lomary
Meanwhile, at Our Lady of Assumption Kindergarten at Lomary Primary School in Galoa, students participated in Day 2 of the weeklong Parramatta festival which is running in conjunction with the early childhood week celebrations. The theme yesterday focused on health.
