Ratu Kadavulevu School Under -18 rugby expect a tough challenge when they face Cuvu College in the Coke Zero Deans semi-final on Saturday.

The boys from Delainakaikai are being guided by an old scholar and former national rep Nacanieli Saumi.

School principal Peni Senikarawa anticipates an exciting battle.

“We are expecting a tough game against Cuvu College as they are the Western Zone champion,” Senikarawa said.

“We are aware Cuvu College have few players who played for the Nadroga Under- 20 team.

“They played Nadroga style of rugby which is always entertaining to watch.

“Our boys are working hard to qualify for the final and the only way we can achieve that is minimising our mistakes.

“We really struggled in the 10-7 win over Marist Brothers High School in the quarterfinal last Saturday.

“I would like to urge all our supporters, ex-scholars to come out in numbers on Saturday.”

Lodoni last held the Deans Trophy in 2015 when they defeated MBHS 8-5.
