Advanced Parts and Spares Labasa football team will need to win two games this weekend to be in contention of winning the 2017 Vodafone Premier League.

The Babasiga Lions will face Nadi in their first match at 7pm tonight at Prince Charles Park and unbeaten Lautoka 3pm on Sunday at Churchill Park.

After winning both games last weekend, the Babasiga Lions are in second position with 20 points and are alos in good stead to qualify for the OFC Champions League.

Secretary Varun Anand said they will need to maintain their winning performance.

“We are currently second on the points table and in good position to qualify for the OFC Champions League,” Anand said.

“Our aim is to win the two games this weekend against Nadi and Lautoka.

“The boys have been training hard and we are positive of a good outcome.

“We scored seven goals in two tough games which is good sign.”
