Rups Big Bear is offering their Total range of tools for customers who wish to do just that.

Assistant Manager Retail Rups, Dharmen Singh said that transitioning into the tools range had seen their Total branded tools most favourable to  customers.

“Total brands are leading the markets now and here at big bear stores, we have picked and chose to sell total brand and it’s mostly asked by the customers around here,” he said.

The Total branded tools available at the outlet range from hardware tools to electrical tools.

According to Mr Singh they have Total branded tools like the circular saw for $109.00, grinder $69.00, water blaster $299, generators $599 and electrical drill $69 with other handy tools to choose from.

Singh added that since the customer demand was high since they first offered the tool range, the items were slowly being recognised in the market and with customers.

“We started with the tool range about 10 months ago and people have taken advantage of the affordable prices we offer.”

Rups has supplied its generators to local government ministries, private contractors and construction companies and new shipment of tools are expected to come in early August.

“A number of pieces we sold to Fiji Police Force, those people who live in the interior of Ra, for their police posts, due to cyclone still there was no power and they came to buy generators, brush cutters and many of which were in bulks.”

However, as Rups has not fully established its place in the tools department they have dropped prices to its most affordable costs for customers with no warranty conditions.

He added, just to ensure a clear track of communication with customers and the company, they always wanted to inform customers beforehand on the conditions of buying the tools before they purchased.
