Blues Hit Six Over Dreketi

The Lautoka football side marched on in their quest to top the rankings in the Vodafone Premier League after they walloped Dreketi 6-0 at Churchill Park on Friday.
A hat-trick to upcoming striker Siotame Kubu was the highlight of the fast-paced match. The Lautoka officials were tightlipped on their chances as they have one of their hardest matches against Labasa on Sunday.
Veteran striker Valerio Nawatu opened the scoring in the 7th minute after his kick caught Dreketi goalkeeper Waisale Ravuiwasa napping. From then, Lautoka never looked back.
Samuela Drudru made it 2-0 in the 33rd minute and Dave Radriqai slotted in a penalty in the 38th minute for the home side to lead 3-0 at halftime.
Drudru and Kubu continued their outflanking of the Dreketi defence and in the 50th minute the latter netted his first followed two more in the 76th minute and the 86th minute.
Lautoka face Labasa at 3pm tomorrow and a win would push them to being the first team to qualify for the Oceania Football Confederation Champions League.
