Ratu Kadavulevu School will face Queen Victoria School in the Under-15 Coke Zero Deans final at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Saturday.

Ratu Kadavulevu with a player sent off beat Ratu Navula College 13-7 in the first semifinal while Queen Victoria proved too strong for Lelean Memorial School with a 16-6 win.

Ratu Kadavulevu U15 coach Atanasio Dianirova said despite having 14 players in the second half they still managed to win.

“We came prepared to win and I’m happy that we’ve accomplished our goal,” Dianirova said.

“In the second half, one of our players was red carded and despite that the team managed to keep playing right to the last minute of play which was very encouraging to see. We’re looking forward to meeting QVS and we’ve defeated them during the Eastern Zone final, so hopefully we can deliver the same performance next week.

“We will go back and regroup and work on basics.”
