New teams join Galaxy Kaji

Taveuni, Buca Bay and Beqa are the new districts who will be taking part in the 2017 Rewa Galaxy Kaji Rugby tournament on August 14-17 at the ANZ Stadium, Suva.
A total of 19 districts will be taking part in the four-day competition.
Fiji Kaji Rugby Association secretary Sitiveni Uluinavucu said they’re happy that schools from the outer islands have shown interest to participate in the competition.
“It’s nice to see all these schools from the outer islands taking part in the competition,” Uluinavucu said.
“There will five schools from Beqa, four schools from Buca Bay including Rabi and all the schools from Taveuni who will be taking part.
“I think the inclusion of these schools will provide tough competition to the other schools and will actually lift the competition.
“Last year we could not have the tournament because of bad weather but we’re hoping for a good turnout this year.
“The schools will start coming in to Suva on August 11 and we are really looking forward to the competition.”
