RKS Aim To Top All

Ratu Kadavulevu School is aiming to create history on Saturday.
The Tailevu school plan to win the finals of all six grades in the Coke Zero Deans 2017 at the ANZ Stadium.
This is the first time since 1994 that RKS has qualified in all the grades.
With the focus on the U18 grade, RKS will face defending champions Queen Victoria School after beating Cuvu College 23-12 in the semifinals last week.
RKS principal Peni Senikarawa said although it will be a tough battle, the fact that all grades have qualified for the final is the inspiration they need to go into this weekend’s match fighting to come out on top.
“We are really happy to be in the final of the Deans after a really tough match against Cuvu College last week,” Senikarawa said.
“Going up against QVS is not always an easy task as they are our biggest rivals so we will be expecting a very tough match.
“To reach the finals is a huge achievement for any team but for all six of our grades to reach the final is something on another level.
“The last time we won the U18 grade was back in 2015 and the most trophies we won was two so this weekend will be a very important weekend for us.
“We are trying to create a legacy by setting up an aim to try and win all the grades that we qualified for.
“The opportunity is there for us but now it is just a matter of whether we can grasp it with both hands or not.
“The motivation for the U18 team and all grades for that matter is exactly that; qualifying for all the grades.
“We know all teams want to win but we want it more and we want to create history eith.er by winning all grades or winning more than two grades.
“We have faith in our teams and they are preparing accordingly.”
