The Lomaiviti Princess II had just returned from its franchise trip to Northern Lau – Cicia, Tuvuca, Cikobia, Vanuabalavu, Yacata.

It left Muaiwalu Jetty on August 05 and returned August 08.

According to Goundar Shipping Limited (GSL) managing director George Goundar the Lomaiviti Princess II will leave for its next trip on August 09 to Koro and to Gau on August 11.

On August 25 it will leave for its franchise trip to Moala, Totoya and Matuku.

Meanwhile when asked about the company’s new bus service to the northern division he said one bus had been completed and they were waiting for another two.

These buses he said would transfer the passengers from Savusavu to Natuvu and Labasa and return.

“At the moment we do not have this service and our passengers are disadvantaged as they need to make their own arrangement or else have to wait for the next available bus service or other transport.”

He said customers wanting to use this service would need to pay for the additional service.
