Sponsorship boost for Bodybuilding

Janty Kanvan Limited (JKL) has showed their support towards the bodybuilding sport. JKL officially came on board with a $8000 sponsorship cheque for Nilesh Chand who will be competing in the 2017 New Zealand Bodybuilding Nationals in Auckland, in October.
In handing over the cheque, JKL operations manager Jigar Khatri said they were pleased to sponsor a local Fijian with raw talent, hard work and efforts.
“JKL had always been actively involved in its corporate social responsibility and we are delighted to extend this generosity to Nilesh Chand (a local Fijian) who will be pursuing his dreams as a bodybuilder abroad,” Khatri said.
Bodybuilding is a minor sport in Fiji.
“We are sponsoring Nilesh in the hope that this will relief the burden off his shoulders,” he said.
JKL hopes more Fijians can come onboard in this upcoming bodybuilding sport as inspired by Nilesh’s enthusiasm and efforts.
“We hope to see this sport to develop in Fiji and wish Nilesh Chand the best in this path.”
Receiving the sponsorship cheque, Nilesh Chand said: “I have been competing in this sport of bodybuilding for four years and finally took the sport abroad to qualify and competed in New Zealand and with God’s grace I had won three golds.
“All my travels were my personal funds from my family savings which were exhausted just then Janty Kanvan Ltd stepped in to help me prepare and be able to compete in the NZ National 2017,” he said.
“With this help, I am ready to rock the stages again come this October and take our country’s name on international platform again to glory.
“A big vinaka vakalevu to my sponsor Janty Kanvan Limited and the bodybuilding association.”
