3000 Kaji Get Set

Over 3000 participants from various primary schools around the country will participate in the 2017 Rewa Galaxy Kaji Rugby tournament.
The tournament will be held from Monday to Thursday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva next week.
Fijian Primary Schools Kaji Rugby Association secretary Sitiveni Uluinavucu anticipates an exciting 4-day of competition.
“Response in terms of preparations has been good and we are expecting good competition from the students,” Uluinavucu said.
“This year we are expecting 19 teams, representing the various districts around the country with over 3000 students involved which is an increase compared to last year.
“Our aim is for the young players to enjoy the sport and at the same time develop their rugby skills.
“Kaji Rugby is the climax of the Fijian Primary Schools Rugby Union calendar and there will be six grades contesting from the Under-9 to the Under-14 grade.
“We are urging all stakeholders, parents and supporters to come out in numbers to support the tournament.”
