$8m complex to open in Nabua

Renowned Labasa business man, Charan Jeath Singh expects to open his $8 million Nabua, Suva complex to businesses next month.
The three-level building is located at the corner of Nabua Road and Ratu Mara Road along the Suva-Nausori corridor.
Mr Singh said the complex will accommodate business varieties in its 15 outlets at the ground floor, Charan Jeath Singh Group (CJS) Supermarket, a food court and Digicel Fiji Headquarters.
“Digicel will move here from Kadavu House.”
Digicel will have over 200 workers, the supermarket will have 80 workers and the 15 outlets will have at least a total of 60 workers.
“Once the complex is fully operational, it will employ at least 350-400 full time.”
Mr Singh also added that there will be a two level floors car park as well with 150 parking spaces, 75 in each floor.
A minimum of 30 parking spaces will be for the Digicel staff members and the rest for the other workers and customers.
“The unique part of the carpark is that, it will be covered in a canopy to shelter the customers from the unpredictable weather of Suva.
“It will be of a huge benefit to our customers,” said Mr Singh.
Complex plan:
n Top floor: Digicel Headquarters.
n Second Floor: CJS Supermarket, it will be their second supermarket, Food Court ( I Crave, Bay Leaf and a Chinese restaurant)
n Ground Floor: 15 Outlets including textile, pharmacy, doctor, coffee shop, Digicel retail shop, and a few more.
Other plans:
n CJS Supermarket in Nakasi to open next year
n Reconstruction of the Lautoka Hotel.
Mr Singh said they plan to build a five storey building which will start next year. It is a $15 million project.
