Lekutu In For Experience, Final

The Lekutu Secondary School Under-17 team aims to gain good experience in the Powerade Super Netball Championship at Subrail Park in Labasa.
The netters from Bua are competing in the U17, U-19 girls’ categories and a men’s team for the Open grade.
Lekutu Secondary coordinator Amelia Waqavakatini said so far the teams have been performing well.
“Our aim is to play the pool games and qualify for the finals,” Waqavakatini said.
“We are not aiming for a win because there are many big guns from Viti Levu.
“We are here for a good outing and perform to our very best.
“We lost to Suva Grammar 16-10 and won against All Saints Secondary 17-15.
“We learn so many things and as this is the first time we are participating in the tournament.”
