Our four local golf professionals received a major boost from TaylorMade Australia in the lead up to the 2017 Fiji International.

Abid Hussain, Apenisa Koroicure, Tomasi Tuivuna and Zoheer Ahmad will tee off with the best from all over the world at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course on Thursday.

PGA Fiji president David Roche thanked TaylorMade Australia for the timely assistance.

“We are very thankful for their support,” Roche said.

“Each player receives a TaylorMade Australia bag, two caps, two dozen balls, gloves and drivers.”

Tuivuna said this had boosted their chances in playing well.

“We are grateful for the sponsorship and this certainly boosts our morale,” he said.

“We have been preparing well and looking forward to give a good show.”

Easy Golf Worldwide Tours chief executive officer Richard Tessel said: “This was part of TaylorMade Australia supporting golf in Fiji. They are one of our clients and we are also here to promote golf and travel to Fiji.”

He thanked Tourism Fiji for being partners in hosting their over 60 ambassadors who will arrive at the end of the week.
