MV Sea Rakino, Brianna On Franchise Trips

The MV Brianna left for its franchise trip to Vanuabalavu, Cicia, Cikobia and Yacata on August 08.
On August 14 the Fiji Sun met with 64-year-old , retired military officer, Savenaca Bulivakarua picking up his cargoes from MV Brianna sent from his son, Viliame Bulivakarua who is a school teacher at Ratu Finau Secondary School .
There were other passengers who were picking up their sacks of coconuts from the Muaiwalu Jetty, Walu Bay, Suva.
Victoria Marine Limited manager shipping Captain Pita Cokomata said their other vessel the MV Sea Rakino left for its normal trip to Yasawa on August 15.
When asked about the cargoes the vessel took he said “just the normal cargoes” and other products purchased by passengers.
Captain Cokomata said their vessel MV Brianna also served its franchise trip on August 08 to the Upper Southern Lau – Lakeba, Oneata, Moce, Komo, Namuka-i-Lau, Kabara, Vanuavatu and Nayau.
When asked what were loaded he said just normal cargoes to maritime islands.
People on these islands living in Suva he said usually took the opportunity to send goods they bought for the families living on the island on such a trip.
The two vessels had brought relief to the islanders both in their franchise and normal trips.
