Letter of the Week: Thank you Nadroga

Thank you Nadroga

Jonas Bradburgh, Nasinu

Thank you Nadroga Rugby Union for being True Champions.

They summarised this fiasco with a gentlemen’s agreement and stating the playing field decided the winner, the protest was just to highlight issues regarding player eligibility.

Talking about procedures, if 10 Suva players are to be rested in the game against Namosi is this another indicator of:

1. Lack of awareness on transfer procedure, and

2. Costly and too many requirements for player transfer, thus they don’t divulge their eligibility.

For example potential players working or residing in the Central Division have the Namosi, Naitasiri, Northland and Naitasiri Rugby Unions to choose from.

The heart to play rugby and be recognised will always outweigh the transfer compliance.

  •   Jonas Bradburgh will receive a Philips Dry Iron from Courts.
