Selemo Drokamaisau is the new Northern Divisional Education Officer.
The 51-year-old from Lakeba in Saqani, Cakaudrove has been in this position the past three weeks.
During the early childhood education workshop at Labasa Sangam College on Friday, Mr Drokamaisau said he was the Western Divisional education officer before he was posted to the Northern Division.
The father of four children and grandchildren to four said he was ready to work with the Northern staff.
