South Three U15 won the Vodafone Fijian Secondary Schools 7s final defeating South One 24-5 at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.

South Three side led by Mitchell Simpson scored four tries through Ponipate Naliva, Nemani Smith, Isoa Tuwai and Simpson with Naliva kicking two conversions.

The team received $300 while South One who scored their try through Josaia Rayawa returned home $200 richer.

Simpson was excited with the experience they gained from the one day tourney.

“This is a good learning experience for me and it’s a good opportunity for us to come here and expose our talents.

“This has taught us to keep on training and be good players,” Simpson said.

Runners up captain Simione Togoloa acknowledged the Lord for his guidance.

“Our team was formed in the 11th hour and reaching the final is a blessing to us.” Togoloa said.
