Blues Aim To Stay Unbeaten

Football fans could be in for one of the most exciting and most contested matches this year when Rewa take on 2017 Vodafone Premier League winners Oceania Water Lautoka today at 3pm.
The match, which was postponed from last night because of the unfavourable weather, will probably have the shine taken off it with the heavy underfoot conditions at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori
Rewa will want to be the only premier side to have been Lautoka in the league and what better time to do this than in the last match of the competition.
The ‘Delta Tigers’ would dearly want that party to be spoilt and would stop at nothing to have this done.
Lautoka know this is the scenario they would be facing.
Lautoka Football Association president Abdul Kadar said Rewa would be hard to topple at home and with the wet weather, the task had become even more difficult.
“Everyone knows Rewa at home so we are in that position.”
Kadar said the sugar city side would dearly want that unbeaten league run tag intact and would definitely be fighting tooth and nail to keep it.
“Rewa beat us at home during the INKK Battle of the Giants semifinal so that in itself goes to show the calibre of that team.
“We will give it our best shot,” Kadar said.
