Abhimannu happy with Extra crowd

Kavishay Abhimannu was impressed with the large turnout at the opening of the first Extra supermarket on Friday.
The $3.5 million investment opened its doors for business at TappooCity, Lautoka.
“The turnout on the first day of opening has been good and we plan to retain this,” Mr Abhimannu, managing director, said.
He said that the supermarket was customer focused.
“Our mission is to give Fijian families the best products they need for happy and healthy living, at attractive prices they love and can afford,” he said.
“At our stores, you can trust the quick movement and rapid replenishment of products to ensure that everything is always fresh. We source top quality products across the world and locally.”
He added that the store brought everything in abundance giving extra choices, providing a wide range of products and extra savings by ensuring lowest possible prices.
“Extra convenience in the form of wider aisles and plenty of parking, extra comfort by providing fully air conditioned stores – all of these and more with a friendly and pleasant smile to make your shopping experience a pleasant and fun-filled activity,” Mr Abhimannu added.
In terms of future extension of the supermarket branch elsewhere, Mr Abhimannu said that they would be opening the second outlet early next year at the upcoming Flagstaff Plaza in Suva. The TappooCity supermarket created job for 50 staff members.
