Biker was Going to Celebrate Birthday with his Mother

A family in Nadera, Nasinu are mourning the loss of their youngest brother, Ashish Anil Jattan, 30, who was involved in a motorbike accident over the weekend.
The deceased, also known as ‘Krish’, was married and owns Krish Designs and a fleet of rentals.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the accident. She said the deceased was heading towards Suva when he lost control of the motorbike and collided with the rear end of a taxi.
The accident happened at a bus stop close to the Fiji National University Nasinu Campus in Valelevu on Saturday afternoon.
Ms Naisoro said he was pronounced dead on arrival at the CWM Hospital.
At the family home in Nadera, the deceased’s elder brother, Anil Jattan of New Zealand said he was in Fiji to celebrate his mother and brother Krish’s (deceased) birthdays.
“I am not blaming anyone for my family’s loss, but, I am making a call to any driver to take care on the road because your death could be a big loss for your family,” Mr Jattan said.
Mr Jattan said his children, brothers and friends had lost someone who was known for always going out of his way to help others.
He said his brother was a great friend, an artistic and successful businessman who never isolated himself from their extended family.
“In the last hour (of his death) we saw him was when he was heading out to my elder brother’s place in Vatuwaqa to spend time with my two children,” he said.
“But now my children won’t get to see or hear their uncle’s voice anymore.
“Only the memory of a loved one who was always in a hurry to assist his family and friends in anything he could contribute to, remains with us.”
