Nabua complex opens

Everything starts with God and should end with him.
This was the statement by renowned Labasa business man, Charan Jeath Singh yesterday as he opened his $8 million Nabua, Suva complex yesterday with prayers.
It was a religious opening with prayers and blessings of the property by a Sikh Priest.
“Everybody believes in God and we all need his blessings, so we need him to bless the complex and bless the business” he said.
Over hundred people attended the religious opening. These included the tenants, friends and families gathered in prayers of thanksgiving for another milestone.
Mr Singh said the outlets can start operating from September 1st, but the whole complex is expected to fully operate by October.
The three-level building is located at the corner of Nabua Road and Ratu Mara Road
In an earlier interview with the Fiji Sun Mr Singh said once the complex is fully operational, it will employ at least 350-400 full time workers.
He also added that there will be a two level car park as well with 150 parking spaces, 75 in each floor.
“The unique part of the carpark is that, it will be covered in a canopy to shelter the customers from the unpredictable weather of Suva.
Complex plan:
n Top floor: Digicel Headquarters.
n Second Floor: CJS Supermarket, it will be their second supermarket, Food Court: I Crave, Bay Leaf and a Chinese restaurant.
n Ground Floor: 15 Outlets including textile, pharmacy, doctor, coffee shop, Digicel retail shop, and a few more.
Other plans:
n CJS Supermarket in Nakasi to open next year
n Reconstruction of the Lautoka Hotel.
Mr Singh said they plan to build a five storey building which will start next year. It is a $15 million project, he said.
