Alleged Stabber, Woman, 43, Granted Bail

A 43-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed her younger sister was yesterday granted bail.
A Domestic Violence Restraining Order was imposed on Frances Lesua.
Lesua is charged with one count of assault with intent to cause actual bodily harm to her 41-year-old biological sister using a kitchen knife.
The alleged incident occurred at Vatuwaqa in Suva on Saturday, August 26.
She appeared before Magistrate Warleen George.
In addition, Lesua chose to hear her case before the Magistrate court when she was asked by the Magistrate since it was an indictable offence.
The accused was granted bail on a sum of $200 and on the condition that she did not offend and that she stayed away from the victim.
She was also warned not to harass, intimidate or hurt her relatives or anyone else otherwise she would be remanded.
Full disclosures were served to Lesua and she will reappear in court on September 9.
