Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association yesterday organised a Media workshop to help journalist better understand the country’s largest foreign exchange earner.
The workshop was held at their headquarters in Gorrie Street, Suva.
There were presentations by some executive members and there were about 30 participants.
Topics includes:
- The role of Tourism to the Fiji Economy and the challenges to the industry.
- Introduction to FHTA background, Code of Ethics, Stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Environment programmes and community initiatives and few others.
