Expect more rain in the coming days, the Nadi weather office has predicted.
It said a trough of low pressure was causing this and it is moving slowly over the group. It is expected to affect the group today as well.
There were no flood warnings issued. However it said there would be occasional rain over the Northern parts of Viti Levu, Lomaiviti and Southern Lau group, the eastern parts and interior of the other larger islands.
Cloudy periods with some showers are expected in other parts of the country followed by isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls likely.
Mariners can expect South to North-east winds of 15 to 20 knots, associated with moderate to rough seas.
